'Case Information' slipped out last month (25 October 2022) by the Scottish Government's Fish Health Inspectorate exposes the scam that is "responsibly sourced" RSPCA Assured Scottish salmon.

Here's excerpts from the inspection report (2022-0110) which details eye damage, moribund fish with one fish "hanging vertically", lesions, infectious diseases and viruses reported at RSPCA Assured Cooke Aquaculture's Vee Taing salmon farm in Shetland during an inspection in April 2022:

A 'Fish Health Inspectorate Visit Report' dated 2 September 2022 - published by the Scottish Government on 25 October 2022 - detailed "varying degrees of eye damage and lesions to the flanks", "damaged tails and pectoral fins" and "erosion of the snouts" amongst 50 moribund and lethargic fish and positive tests for Piscine Myocarditis, Moritella vicosa, Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus and Vibrio as well as "pathology consistent with Cardiomyopathy syndrome", peritonitis and splenitis:
