Save Papay sent a letter to Scotland's Environment Minister earlier this week (2 November 2022) calling for an immediate moratorium on fish farms in Scotland - just in case the letter got lost in the post artist Chris Rutterford hand-delivered an extra large envelope direct to the Scottish Government in Edinburgh.
The 10-page letter concluded:
"We now expect clear & decisive action to rein in the exploitation of communities by international fish farm operators riding rough-shod over inadequate regulatory watchdogs" wrote Save Papay in a letter to Scotland's Env Minister @MairiMcAllan @scotgov https://t.co/P4URR4ctTg pic.twitter.com/o99yl3PuJb
