Teaser for tomorrow: which feedlot is this 'responsibly farmed' salmon sourced from?

Clue - it's certified as welfare & environmentally friendly by @rspcaassured @ASC_aqua

Damning disease data - including photos - was recently slipped out via 'Case Information' published online by the Scottish Government's Fish Health Inspectorate.
The 'Case Information' reports on site inspections carried out by the Scottish Government's Fish Health Inspectorate - often several months after inspections - and is well worth tracking for updates on infectious diseases, mass mortalities and welfare problems on salmon farms across Scotland.
Photo Exclusive: here's why @MowiScotlandLtd want activists to stay away from their disease-ridden feedlots. Shame on @rspcaassured @ASC_aqua @sainsburys @Tesco @LidlGB @AldiUK @ScotlandSalmon for promoting Mowi's Scottish salmon as "responsibly sourced"! https://t.co/P09o4N3rzy pic.twitter.com/nJQYLFQavy

For shareholders of Norwegian giant Mowi and the greenwashers at RSPCA Assured, Sainsbury's, Tesco and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, the May 2022 'Case Information' makes for particularly uncomfortable reading (Mowi's Linnhe salmon farm at Ardgour near the Corran Ferry in Loch Linnhe is certified as 'farmed responsibly' by the ASC and accredited as 'welfare friendly' via RSPCA Assured):
A 'Fish Health Inspectorate Visit Report' dated 16 June 2022 details disease problems at Mowi's RSPCA Assured and ASC-certified Linnhe salmon farm at Ardgour:
A letter dated 18 May 2022 from the Fish Health Inspectorate found that Mowi's movement records for their Linnhe salmon farm were "inadequately maintained".
The Fish Health Inspectorate report for Mowi's RSPCA Assured Linnhe salmon farm included photos (which Scottish Salmon Watch forced the Scottish Government to publish via Freedom of Information despite objections from Mowi, Scottish Sea Farms and The Scottish Salmon Company):
Mowi: "the risk of people turning away from a healthy food such as salmon as a reaction to irresponsible use of photos for the sole purpose of creating fear in the consumer, is a risk to public health" https://t.co/u9Fk2kOkxz @MowiScotlandLtd @marinescotland @FergusEwingMSP pic.twitter.com/M3AyD3jMTm

Other Mowi salmon farms - also certified via the ASC and RSPCA Asssured - have reported huge mortality problems to the Scottish Government:
Back in 2019, Scottish Salmon Watch visited Mowi's Linnhe salmon farm at Ardgour exposing health and safety issues.
$camon $cotland reported yesterday on Mowi's mammoth mortality problems in North Uist with 56% mortality at their ASC-certified and RSPCA Assured salmon farm at Greanem (Grey Horse Channel Outer) in the Sound of Harris.
REVEALED: Mortality rates at feedlots across Scotland are leaping like a lice-infested salmon - with a staggering 55.9% (i.e. more than half of the fish dying) @MowiScotlandLtd @rspcaassured @ASC_aqua Greanem in North Uist https://t.co/kjNDyAMgKa @ScotlandSalmon @tavishscott pic.twitter.com/4893yS4LQ2

Mowi's nearby Gorsten salmon farm - further up Loch Linnhe towards Fort William - famously features as one of the 'monsters in the loch' in Netflix's Seaspiracy.

In July 2021, Scottish Salmon Watch filmed inside four RSPCA Assured Mowi salmon farms around the Isle of Shuna near Oban exposing shocking welfare abuse and racking up over one million views on Seaspiracy's Instragram page as well as media coverage in The Mail On Sunday:

Here's more photos of Mowi's disease-ridden salmon obtained via Freedom Information (photos which Mowi attempted - unsuccessfully as it turned out - to supress):
No wonder Mowi's lawyers are desperately trying to stop the public from finding out the inside story!
Given the gruesome nature of welfare abuse, mass mortalities & lice infestations it is not surprising that this Norwegian-owned behemoth wants to stop the public from finding out the ugly truth about @rspcaassured Scottish salmon https://t.co/vF5nFV2sCD @MowiScotlandLtd @SSPOsays pic.twitter.com/UMMNlwvXq3
