The Worst Salmon Toilets in Scotland (even worse than Trainspotting)!

 



 

 

In the 1996 film 'Trainspotting', Ewan McGregor descended into "the worst toilet in Scotland" to fish out his opium suppositories (shoved up his bum to combat his heroin withdrawal).

In my own personal hell, I've visited filthy feedlots across Scotland and the toxic toilets where salmon companies dump tonnes and tonnes of disease-ridden Scottish salmon (many killed by overdosing on drugs such as Azamethiphos, Deltamethrin and Hydrogen peroxide and where antibiotics such as Oxytetracycline and Florfenicol have been used on site).  

 

 

 

 

You may have seen Mowi's toxic toilet overflowing with disease-ridden Scottish salmon in Netflix's 'Seaspiracy':

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or you may have caught sight of The Scottish Salmon Company's toxic toilet at Strondoir Bay in Loch Fyne as featured in the Kate Winslet-narrated film 'Eating Our Way to Extinction'.

No wonder Leonardo DiCaprio (who endorsed 'Eating Our Way to Extinction' and is an active environmental campaigner) cautions against the consumption of farmed salmon in his Netflix smash hit 'Don't Look Up':
