Trainspotting shocked the world with the worst toilet in Scotland - dare to take a peek inside the worst salmon toilets in Scotland? https://t.co/fA5Qihm1tJ#Trainspotting #Scottish #Salmon pic.twitter.com/WxFqCbmdnP

In the 1996 film 'Trainspotting', Ewan McGregor descended into "the worst toilet in Scotland" to fish out his opium suppositories (shoved up his bum to combat his heroin withdrawal).
In my own personal hell, I've visited filthy feedlots across Scotland and the toxic toilets where salmon companies dump tonnes and tonnes of disease-ridden Scottish salmon (many killed by overdosing on drugs such as Azamethiphos, Deltamethrin and Hydrogen peroxide and where antibiotics such as Oxytetracycline and Florfenicol have been used on site).
The Worst Salmon Toilets in Scotland (even worse than Trainspotting)! https://t.co/fA5Qihm1tJ

Scottish salmon farming is a video nasty - as sponsored @ScotlandSalmon @VisitScotland @marinescotland @scotgov @rspcaassured @SoilAssociation @ASC_aqua @MowiScotlandLtd pic.twitter.com/B1dSIWVOK1
You may have seen Mowi's toxic toilet overflowing with disease-ridden Scottish salmon in Netflix's 'Seaspiracy':
Norwegian salmon giant Mowi has reacted to Netflix's 'Seaspiracy' by publishing videos claiming to show healthy farmed salmon at their @rspcaassured @ASC_aqua salmon farm in Loch Linnhe which featured in @seaspiracy @ScotlandMowi @SSPOsays @iamalitabrizi https://t.co/DXJ6gnAUgl pic.twitter.com/Xf0W4GGlQg

Or you may have caught sight of The Scottish Salmon Company's toxic toilet at Strondoir Bay in Loch Fyne as featured in the Kate Winslet-narrated film 'Eating Our Way to Extinction'.

No wonder Leonardo DiCaprio (who endorsed 'Eating Our Way to Extinction' and is an active environmental campaigner) cautions against the consumption of farmed salmon in his Netflix smash hit 'Don't Look Up':
#don’t look up @LeoDiCaprio thank you for using your shopping scene to highlight how bad farmed salmon is. As in real life, scientists are discredited for telling the truth and the people are fooled - so look up @TheGAAIA @alex4salmon #corinsmith pic.twitter.com/RAYkYGcbal

Don't look down is the cautionary warning if you don't want to vomit on 'Scottish' salmon - here are some stomach-churning videos of the worst toxic toilets found at salmon farms across Scotland:
Video footage of the mort disposal operation @salmon_scottish "The dead boat – absolutely packed to the gunnels with death: at least thirty tonnes of dead salmon on there today”.

Or welfare abuse uncovered by secret filming inside a harvesting station:
Sometimes the filth from Scottish salmon farms spills onto the road (like all those tourists in Scotland defacating by the roadside):
Or disease-ridden Scottish salmon is dumped illegally:

45 per cent of the salmon killed by disease or other problems at Scottish fish farms end up as landfill, are incinerated or disposed of as waste. #fishytaleshttps://t.co/USRD8YDRoq

The dumping of diseased farmed salmon in the Outer Hebrides was exposed by the BBC One Show in 2018:
Video footage of dead farmed salmon piled up at the bottom of cages in Scotland was also broadcast by BBC Panorama in May 2019.
Video footage of dead salmon at Mowi's Poll Na Gille salmon farm was posted by David Ainsley in 2017:
Further video footage of morts being disposed of at Mowi's 'Bay of the Dead Heads' salmon farm near Craobh Haven were posted in September 2019:
Such is the horror of Scottish salmon farming that it could feature in a fishy follow up to 'Apocalypse Now':
Please join actor and Sea Shepherd activist Martin Sheen (he starred in Apocalypse Now) in pledging not to eat farmed salmon!

Tourists visiting Scotland don't want to see or smell the filth of Scottish salmon.
There is hardly a pier on the #IsleOfSkye that hasn't been appropriated by the toxic #salmon industry. Once a beautiful, peaceful place, #LochPooltiel pier is now home to stinking mort bins and trash. pic.twitter.com/cMHNwtcC5c

Here's a quaint video from the Highlands of Scotland with Scottish salmon leaping out of the haulage truck onto the A86. Interesting fact - the music played over the 'worst toilet in Scotland' scene in Trainspotting is Brian Eno's 'Deep Blue Day':
Brian Eno is sadly involved in the greenwashing of toxic Scotish salmon via Client Earth (Brian Eno is a trustee of Client Earth where he is listed as "an active campaigner for human rights and the environment").
