We filmed Loch Spelve fish farm yesterday. Not a seal in sight. A lot of dead fish though. Distressing. @TheGAAIA @FergusEwingSNP @NicolaSturgeon @scotseafarms @marinescotland @ScottishEPA @rspcaassured @marksandspencer

Video footage shot yesterday (16 May 2021) by Dip In the Blue at a salmon farm in Loch Spelve - suspended just last week by RSPCA Assured following damning video footage of welfare abuse shot inside the cages - shows diseased salmon being lifted out of the cages into mort bins by workers. The salmon farm in question is operated by Norwegian-owned Norskott Habvruk - a site which pioneered 'Lochmuir' salmon marketed by Marks & Spencer since 2006 (but believed to have been phased out following negative media attention).

If a rambler took footage of farmers disposing of dead livestock would that be "unfair"? Surely the public has a right to know how farmed animals reach our plates?
