The Sunday Times reported (28 March 2021):
In Seaspiracy, Tabrizi steals onto fish producer Mowi’s Gorsten salmon farm - certified via @rspcaassured & @ASC_aqua - in Loch Linnhe in the dead of night with Don Staniford, a veteran campaigner https://t.co/Ykp54fenBh @seaspiracy @iamalitabrizi @ScotlandMowi @SSPOsays pic.twitter.com/wi4gUimotQ

RSPCA Assured Mowi exposed in shocking video footage! @rspcaassured @ScotlandMowi @SSPCA_Kirsteen @ChrisGPackham pic.twitter.com/H2U3yfcLKx
Shamefully, the Mowi salmon farm at Gorsten in Loch Linnhe exposed in Seaspiracy is accredited as welfare friendly by RSPCA Assured who certify ca. 70% of salmon farming production in Scotland in return for over £500,000 per year.
Why does @rspcaassured certify 70% of Scottish salmon farms as welfare-friendly when there is systemic suffering & abuse? @RSPCA_official @RSPCA_Frontline @AnimalLawCon @Animal_Alliance @animalpharm @AnimalEquality @AnimalAid @media_ciwf @PETAUK @HSIUKorg https://t.co/ZuzAis8gEr pic.twitter.com/1rWDdk5Hsc

Mowi's salmon at Gorsten in Loch Linnhe (just over the loch from Fort William) is also certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council whose appallingly weak standards allow the use of toxic chemicals, mass mortalities, infectious diseases and a raft of ecologically destructive practices.
Anyone for "responsibly certified" Scottish salmon doused in carcinogenic chemical, battered to death, ridden with infectious diseases, served with a side of slaughtered seal & lashings of lice? https://t.co/eY2gaWV3eD @ASC_aqua @MowiScotlandLtd @FergusEwingMSP @rspcaassured pic.twitter.com/lljHE7UyBn

Only one out of 28 salmon farms harvested @rspcaassured Mowi over the last year would have passed the @ASC_aqua mortality standard of 10% - the average mortality rate was a staggering 24.4% with 39% death rate at the aptly named Muck salmon farm @ScotlandMowi @MowiScotlandLtd pic.twitter.com/465g30A5KQ

Thanks for the directions - it's very easy to find just off the A861. You can see it from the road approaching Fort William - and on a bad day you can smell the stench of rotten Scottish salmon! https://t.co/q0KNiy8uh0

1. I watched #Seaspiracy on Netflix last night. It’s a brilliant expose of the greatest threat to marine life: fishing.
