Data published by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency via 'Scotland's Aquaculture' web-site reveals that Scottish Sea Farms has used the toxic shellfish-killing chemical Emamectin benzoate a staggering 32 times (data since September 2020 is still not publicly available)!
As way of context, unnamed person promoting Norwegian-owned 'Scottish' Sea Farms - your use of toxic shellfish-killing chemicals is ethically & environmentally bankrupt https://t.co/U3Xo7UFtXX pic.twitter.com/I6d6sk9OYA

Scottish Sea Farms has also used the shellfish-killing chemicals Deltamethrin, Azamethiphos and Cypermethrin at their Dunstaffnage salmon farm.
Given the use of a cocktail of toxic chemicals it is not surprising that Emamectin benzoate has been detected by SEPA under the Dunstaffnage salmon farm.
Mass mortalities at the Dunstaffnage salmon farm operated by Norwegian-owned Scottish Sea Farms are staggering - here's the top 20 highest monthly mortalities as reported to SEPA.
Disease data shows that Dunstaffnage salmon farm has reported problems with Cardiomyopathy Syndrome (heart disease), Salmonid alphavirus (Pancreas Disease) and Vibrio.
When Scottish Salmon Watch visited a salmon farm in the Summer Isles at Tanera we nearly vomited at the stench of Scottish Sea Farms.
When we visited their processing plant at South Shian we were shocked at the dead cleaner fish.
When we filmed at Scottish Sea Farms in Loch Spelve in 2018 we saw lice-infested cleaner fish.
In November 2020, Salmon & Trout Conservation Scotland published shocking photos of welfare abuse at a salmon farm operated by Scottish Sea Farms in nearby Loch Creran 'Special Area of Conservation' and 'Marine Protected Area':
In November 2020, Scottish Salmon Watch reported on opposition to Scottish Sea Farms in Wester Ross.
"The site proposed by @scotseafarms is entirely unsuitable due to its proximity to important protected habitats. These plans pose a serious threat to marine wildlife, stores of blue carbon & the local creel fishing industry" @heraldscotland https://t.co/Yc9xVNEJKx @ScotWildlife

No wonder locals are horse in their opposition to @scotseafarms Who in their right mind would want a horrific salmon farm polluting a Marine Protected Area? @FergusEwingMSP @marinescotland @ScotWildlife @SaversSea @KateForbesMSP @LeroySeafood @scotgp https://t.co/21mM6iVaB9 pic.twitter.com/vD8t4Sa5xe

In August 2019, Scottish Salmon Watch and SumOfUs coordinated a protest against Scottish Sea Farms.
The Oban Times reported in August 2019:
Here's photos of the protest at Dunstaffnage marina.

In January 2020, Scottish Salmon Watch reported on lice infestation problems at Scottish Sea Farms in Loch Kishorn.

Edie Bowles @Animallawyersuk said the dossier, compiled by Don Staniford, a critic of salmon farming, indicated “systemic and obvious” pain & suffering that could justify legal action against @scotgov @MairiGougeon @SSPOsays https://t.co/ZuzAis8gEr @SundayTimesScot @ciwf @scotgp pic.twitter.com/RPVIAL3KlS

In February 2020, Scottish Salmon Watch reported on mass mortalities at RSPCA Assured Scottish Sea Farms in nearby Loch Spelve on the Isle of Mull.
Does the RSPCA still certify Loch Spelve? @rspcaassured @scotseafarms A 6% survival rate is truly shocking - out of 382,344 salmon stocked in the farm only 24,000 were harvested! How can the RSPCA condone such cruelty & suffering? @RSPCA_Frontline @RSPCA_official @RSPCAChris https://t.co/nAUVPrV1oQ

Telephone inspection of @scotseafarms by @marinescotland in Loch Spelve - 366,000+ fish die (199,124 culled & 177,588 morts). Last month, Scottish Salmon Watch revealed that Scottish Sea Farms was Scottish salmon's #1 seal killer with over 230 seals killed since 2011.

In November 2020, Scottish Salmon Watch wrote to the Norwegian Government to divest from 'unethical' salmon farming companies operating in Scotland including Scottish Sea Farms.
Did you know that the Norwegian Government's Pension Fund (derived from Norway's oil revenues) is the largest or 2nd largest shareholder in companies which account for 80% of 'Scottish' salmon farming? @Folketrygdfond @MowiScotlandLtd @salmon_scottish https://t.co/4P1m3g2CvT pic.twitter.com/Sl6bFlcwaK

Scottish Sea Farms is not only unethical but it has been shown to be a threat to public health. "A Scottish fish farming plant, whose workers complained of a mystery illness, had been reprimanded by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for "serious violations" of food safety rules on pesticides in salmon," reported Rob Edwards in The Sunday Herald (28 October 2012).
"A processing plant at Connel, in Argyll, which is run by Scottish Sea Farms, was warned by the FDA in March that it was in breach of US federal regulations," continued The Sunday Herald (28 October 2012). "Your firm's aquaculture farmed salmon appear to be adulterated," the FDA said, "in that the products have been prepared, packed, or held under conditions whereby they may have been rendered injurious to health."
"Staff at Scottish Sea Farms site in Connel, left their posts on October 11 after feeling ill and coughing and vomiting," reported Fish Update (24 October). "One Scottish Sea Farms employee, who did not wish to be named, said the sickness had been ongoing for ‘two to three’ weeks."

No wonder Scottish Sea Farms and Marks & Spencer have attempted to brand farmed salmon using the fake name 'Lochmuir'.
And if fake marketing does not work, Scottish Sea Farms have used Police Scotland as private security to keep the public away from their salmon farms.
Police Scotland Acting as Private Security for Scottish Sea Farms (yet again)? @policescotland @scotseafarms https://t.co/gVec2N47IW Scottish Salmon Watch today filed a formal complaint against Police Scotland for harassment and against Scottish Sea Farms for reckless behaviour pic.twitter.com/QMenSoJ2GS
